SAN FRANCISCO – March 17, 2025 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Alison Flowers to the firm’s San Francisco office as a shareholder. Alison joins the firm from Aleshire & Wynder, where she was the Oakland office managing partner and chair of the firm’s employment litigation practice.
With more than 14 years of legal experience, Alison handles state and federal court litigation at every stage through trial and appeal. Her practice focuses on municipal litigation and public sector labor relations, where she leads cities, counties, special districts, and non-profits through complex legal cycles. Alison has experience with a wide range of matters including wrongful termination and harassment claims, disability discrimination and retaliation cases, unfair practice charges and labor negotiations, and more.
Over the course of her career, Alison has provided management-side representation before the National Labor Relations Board, the California Public Employment Relations Board, numerous special districts and trial courts, and some of the highest courts in the United States federal judiciary. As a testament to her legal excellence, the L.A. Times Business of Law recognized Alison as a Legal Visionary in 2022.
“We are thrilled to welcome Alison to Ogletree Deakins,” said Lisa Hamasaki, office managing shareholder in San Francisco. “Her successful track record in representing the public sector as litigation counsel and deep knowledge of traditional labor law will prove invaluable to our clients and the firm.”
Alison serves on the Board of Directors for Long Beach Organic and often speaks at high-profile events including the California Public Employers Labor Relations Association (CALPELRA) Annual Training Conference.
