On May 18, 2016, the U.S. Department of Labor announced the publication of its final rule revising the federal overtime regulations. The new rule has the potential to impact the exempt status of employees in nearly every workforce. Join us for a “lunch and learn” seminar to discuss the content and timing of the new regulations and to gain strategies for implementing and communicating the requirements. Our speakers will summarize the new provisions and provide practical suggestions for coming into compliance before the December 1, 2016, deadline. The speakers will also explain the five-step action plan that they have developed, and provide ideas for using this time as an opportunity to make adjustments in other potential wage-and-hour problem areas.
