Immigration Compliance in 2009

2009 clearly appears to be a year of change and employers will need to be especially mindful of immigration compliance changes. To help prepare employers for 2009 and get started early on New Year’s resolutions, Ogletree Deakins will focus on immigration compliance issues in the January 2009 edition of the Immigration eAuthority. Employers that regularly sponsor foreign national employees will want to read the latest on H-1B enforcement and other topics. All employers will be affected by federal and/or state enforcement changes and will want to review what must be done to avoid potential liability.
