Training is an essential part of preparing for Massachusetts’s equal pay law, which will take effect on July 1, 2018, and it is the focus of our last webinar in a three-part series on the state’s new legislation. Last year, Massachusetts enacted reforms that significantly broadened the state’s existing equal pay law by establishing a violation for pay differentials between men and women for “comparable work” and by prohibiting employers from asking prospective hires about their salary histories with prior employers. In this webinar, we will discuss training and other best practices that employers can implement to get ready to comply with the new law.
