On July 27, 2020, Virginia’s COVID-19 Emergency Temporary Standard went into effect, making Virginia the first state to implement a specific standard intended to control and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace. The emergency standard, which will be enforced by the Virginia Occupational Safety and Health (VOSH) program, includes an extensive list of requirements—some that apply to all employers under VOSH’s jurisdiction and others that only apply to employers with employees classified at specific risk levels of exposure. During this webinar, the speakers will discuss the emergency standard and its implications for Virginia employers.
