Timothy J. Stanton Joins Ogletree Deakins' Chicago Office

CHICAGO – May 25, 2006 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), the nation’s third largest labor and employment law firm, is pleased to welcome Timothy J. Stanton as a shareholder in the firm’s Chicago office. Mr. Stanton comes to Ogletree Deakins from Gardner Carton & Douglas LLP.

Mr. Stanton works extensively in the rapidly changing area of employee benefits law and actively counsels clients on ERISA fiduciary duties, health information privacy and security, retiree medical age discrimination, and consumer-directed health plans. He is frequently quoted on employee benefits issues in leading business and professional publications such as Business Insurance, Employee Benefit News, HR Magazine, and CCH Employee Benefit Management Directions.
