ATLANTA – February 16, 2007 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins) was ranked as the law firm employers most frequently turn to for representation in federal discrimination suits, according to a survey released by Employment Law360 on February 15. The firm was retained in 349 federal discrimination suits last year and was ranked number one in the survey over several larger competitors. “We have a very unique specialty practice here at Ogletree Deakins. We have a national footprint, allowing us to represent clients coast to coast, as well as incredible bench strength – with 350 lawyers who all specialize in employment, immigration, safety, or benefits law,” said Gray Geddie, managing shareholder of Ogletree Deakins. “We provide outstanding client service, both through the services provided by our lawyers and in terms of our publications, seminars, and electronic information. Time and time again our clients tell us that our approach to the practice of law is different than many firms in that we become a true partner with them – interested in them as an organization and not just as a source of revenue.”
