Greenville Attorney Elected Vice President of the SC Governor's School for Science & Mathematics Foundation's Board of Directors

GREENVILLE – August 27, 2007 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins) announced today that J. Howard Daniel, a shareholder in the firm’s Greenville office, was elected Vice President of the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics Foundation’s Board of Directors. Daniel has served on its Board of Directors for the last three years. He will begin serving a one-year term as Vice President effectively immediately.

The Foundation provides support to the South Carolina Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics and serves as its marketing arm to help raise awareness about the school, its needs, and the contributions it makes to the economic prosperity of South Carolina. In addition, it provides additional funding aimed at enhancing the School’s programs.
