Ogletree Deakins Grows St. Louis Office

ST. LOUIS, MO – October 22, 2007 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the nation’s largest labor and employment law firms, announced today it’s adding two attorneys to the firm’s newly founded St. Louis office. Eric A. Todd, formerly of Stinson Morrison Hecker, will join the firm as a shareholder in the next few weeks. Nathan J. Plumb, also previously with Stinson Morrison Hecker, joins Ogletree Deakins today as an associate. Together they bring over 15 years of labor and employment law experience to the firm.

Todd has represented numerous private and public employers on a variety of issues including discipline and discharge, employment discrimination, policies and procedures, and hiring employees. He has tried several jury and nonjury employment cases in federal and state courts, and has represented employers in numerous arbitration hearings affecting both individual employees and large employee groups. He is also a frequent speaker on labor and employment issues and conducts on-site anti-discrimination and harassment training for clients.

Plumb represents employers in the areas of employment law, employment litigation, and noncompetition litigation. He has experience handling claims of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation and has represented employers in litigation matters concerning non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality agreements. In addition, he advises companies on immigration-related matters involving Form I-9 verifications and document issues, self-audits, and government audits and investigations.
