Charles L. Thompson IV Joins Ogletree Deakins’ San Francisco Office

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), the nation’s third largest labor and employment law firm, is pleased to announce Charles L. Thompson IV has joined the firm’s San Francisco office as a shareholder.

Mr. Thompson, who formerly was a partner in the San Francisco law firm of Kauff McClain & McGuire LLP, has extensive litigation and counseling experience in employment and traditional labor law.  He represents employers in wrongful termination, discrimination, class action wage and hour, and other employment-related cases. He counsels employers in all areas of employment law, including trade secrets, leaves of absence and reasonable accommodation, and employee discipline and termination. 

Mr. Thompson earned his B. A., cum laude, from Yale University and his law degree from the University of Texas.  He also clerked for the Honorable Patrick J. Higginbotham on the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
