Ogletree Deakins Honored as the Top Law Firm at 2010 Best Places to Work

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – May 13, 2010 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of America’s largest labor and employment law firms, was awarded the highest ranking in the state among law firms by the Indiana Chamber’s 2010 Best Places To Work program in the large company category.  Overall, the firm ranked eighth behind companies such as Microsoft Corporation and Centier Bank.    
 
The Indiana Chamber’s Best Places to Work program honors the top companies in the state, as determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys.  Winners were selected from two categories: small to medium-sized companies of between 25 and 249 employees (in Indiana or total nationally if there is a parent company) and large-sized companies consisting of 250 or more employees (in Indiana or total nationally if there is a parent company).  Out-of-state parent companies were eligible to participate if at least 25 full-time employees are in Indiana.

Ogletree Deakins’ attorneys and staff spoke of a set of core values shared among them when asked to comment on their workplace.  Among the attributes, teamwork, impeccable client service, integrity and transparency, a high level of collaboration amongst colleagues, and accessibility to management ranked high in respondent surveys.
