Ogletree Deakins Advances on The American Lawyer’s Diversity Scorecard

ATLANTA – June 19, 2013 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce that the firm has moved up 18 spots to No. 38 on The American Lawyer’s 2013 Diversity Scorecard, an annual ranking of large U.S. law firms based on their percentage of minority attorneys and partners.

The Diversity Scorecard surveys the country’s 250 largest and highest-grossing firms as ranked by the National Law Journal and the Am Law200 firms as ranked by The American Lawyer. Firms are ranked according to their diversity score, which is calculated by adding the minority percentage of U.S. attorneys to the minority percentage of U.S. partners at the firm.
