Ulrike Conradi Joins Ogletree Deakins’ Berlin Office as Partner

BERLIN – January 20, 2015 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Ulrike Conradi as the newest partner in the firm’s Berlin office. Conradi joins Ogletree Deakins from Baker & McKenzie, where she was a counsel. Her arrival in Ogletree Deakins’ Berlin office reflects the continued growth the firm is experiencing in Germany and across Europe. Since opening in Berlin in December 2012, the office has grown to include eight attorneys. Ogletree Deakins also has international offices in London and Mexico City.

Conradi has focused the bulk of her 15-year practice on employment and pension law. She regularly advises employers on matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, restructuring of companies, and privatizations. She also advises employers on the conclusion of collective agreements with works councils and unions, mass dismissals, employee benefits and pension issues, including the introduction, change, transfer, and closure of pension and other benefit schemes.

An experienced writer and speaker, Conradi has published several articles on employment law topics and regularly presents and facilitates seminars on employment issues. Conradi was admitted to practice law in Germany in 1999. She earned her Dr. jur. from the University of Leipzig in 2000 and earlier studied law at the University of Freiburg and Grenoble/France.
