CHICAGO – June 1, 2015 – Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Timothy A. Wolfe as a shareholder in the firm’s Chicago office. Wolfe joins Ogletree Deakins from Meckler Bulger Tilson Marick & Pearson LLP, where he was a partner. Wolfe’s extensive labor and employment law experience will strengthen the firm’s presence in Chicago and throughout the state of Illinois.
Wolfe has more than 25 years of experience representing management in a full range of labor and employment matters, including issues related to compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Older Worker Benefit Protection Act (OWBPA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and the Illinois Human Rights Act. Wolfe also has extensive class action litigation experience in the areas of employment discrimination and business torts, such as post-employment covenants and trade secrets litigation. In his employment law counseling practice, Wolfe works closely with clients to develop clear and effective policies and procedures that comply with employment laws, including workforce reductions and post-employment restrictive covenants. He has drafted numerous employee handbooks and other employment law policies and regularly conducts independent investigations regarding claims of discrimination and unlawful harassment in the workplace.

Wolfe is active in the Chicago legal and business communities and regularly lectures on myriad employment law topics to corporate law departments and human resources organizations. He earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law.
