Ogletree Deakins Welcomes Robin Repass as Denver Shareholder, Bolsters Workplace Safety Practice in Rocky Mountain Region

DENVER – September 27, 2017 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Robin Repass as a shareholder in the firm’s Denver office. Repass joins the firm from Tesla, where she served as Managing Counsel for Global Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability. Repass has extensive workplace safety experience and wide-ranging labor and employment law skills that will strengthen the offerings of Ogletree Deakins’ Denver office.

Repass has practiced law for more than 20 years and primarily focuses her practice  on workplace safety and labor and employment law matters including Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) regulations, recordkeeping, and reporting compliance; civil and administrative/regulatory litigation; Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charges of discrimination; class actions; National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) unfair labor practice charges; wage and hour issues; federal and state medical leave statutes; workers’ compensation; alcohol and drug testing programs; and whistleblower investigations. Repass has experience representing employers in OSHA investigations, citations, and hearings. She regularly delivers trainings on labor and employment law topics, such as social media, harassment, discrimination, drug testing, employee discipline, and workplace investigations.

Repass earned her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1996 and earlier received a B.S. in Political Science from East Tennessee State University. Repass served in the Tennessee Air National Guard and is a Gulf War Veteran.. She has been recognized as a Colorado Trial Lawyers Association Young Trial Lawyer of the Year 2005 and among the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. She is licensed to practice in California, Colorado, Tennessee, and Wyoming.
