Paul Lancaster Adams Named to Lawyers of Color’s Nation’s Best List

PHILADELPHIA – June 11, 2019 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce that Paul Lancaster Adams, a shareholder in the firm’s Philadelphia office, has been named to Lawyers of Color’s Inaugural Nation’s Best list presented by Major, Lindsay, and Africa with the support of the Diverse Partners Network. The Nation’s Best list recognizes law firm partners and senior-level corporate counsel who have achieved prominence and distinction in their fields and demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.

Paul has served, and continues to serve, in leadership roles at Ogletree Deakins, including firm-wide Management Committee, Office Managing Shareholder, International Client Services Committee, and the Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee. He remains actively involved in his community by serving as a member of the Independence Region Governing Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters and Leadership Council for the UNCF.

In his practice, Paul represents employers as lead counsel in federal and state court employment litigation, class and collective actions, labor arbitrations, and administrative proceedings. He has successfully tried to verdict over 25 matters in federal and state courts and handled numerous arbitrations and mediations. He routinely defends clients in investigations by government agencies such as the EEOC, and state equivalents, DOL, and NLRB and conducts and oversees internal corporate investigations of discrimination, harassment, fraud, embezzlement, and other forms of employment misconduct. He also represents clients in employment related intellectual property matters and in traditional labor settings.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Paul served as Associate General Counsel and Chief Employment Litigator for Microsoft Corporation.
