ATLANTA – August 21, 2019 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce that Flyn Flesher, who serves as knowledge management counsel for the firm, has received the International Legal Technology Association’s (ILTA) Young Professionals to Watch Award.
The Young Professionals to Watch Award is intended to recognize rising young professionals (under 40) in the legal technology industry, including members, ILTA staff, press, partners, and academics. The application questions are intended to demonstrate the candidate’s achievements, professionalism, and leadership in the legal technology space. Moreover, it recognizes how the individual extended their skills to the legal community and reflected ILTA’s core values.
As Knowledge Management Counsel, Flesher is responsible for capturing and organizing the collective knowledge of the firm’s attorneys, allowing them to work more effectively and efficiently for their clients. Most notably, Flesher created the Knowledge And Resource Locator for Ogletree Systems (KARLOS), a chatbot developed to efficiently answer firm employees’ frequently asked questions. KARLOS is currently a finalist for ILTA’s Transformation Project Award. Flesher also contributes to the firm’s knowledge management efforts by creating or curating collections of model documents and templates; helping client teams and practice areas collaborate and manage their content; providing updates on legal developments; and fostering knowledge-sharing among attorneys.
