Atlanta—June 23, 2022—Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce that the firm has been included on Seramount’s “Best Law Firms for Women” 2022 List. Ogletree Deakins has been recognized on this list six times and is among 50 firms that earned spots on the 2022 list.
The “Best Law Firms for Women” list recognizes firms that utilize best practices in recruiting, retaining, promoting, and developing women lawyers. This year’s list highlights the advancement of women attorneys across the board, with firms averaging more women in leadership, more multicultural women, and better benefits than previous years. The percentage of women serving on firms’ management committees increased to 38 percent this year. There are also more multicultural women at every level, with multicultural women representing 29 percent of overall women lawyers.

Other indicators of growth among law firms regarding parental leave, work-life balance, and career advancement for women lawyers include:
- 36 percent of those determining compensation within firms are women.
- 38 percent of those deciding promotions to equity partner are women.
- 80 percent of firms are now hybrid workplaces.
- 67 percent of firms’ benefits now cover in-vitro fertilization.
