Ogletree Deakins Welcomes Seasoned Litigator Tim Keegan as Shareholder in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY – June 29, 2023 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Tim Keegan to the firm’s Salt Lake City office as a shareholder. Tim was previously a partner in the Labor & Employment group of the national law firm Lewis Brisbois.

Tim has more than 15 years of experience defending employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. He has successfully first-chaired numerous trials and arbitrations, and regularly counsels employers on a wide array of matters, including disability accommodations and the interactive process, employee leaves of absence, employee handbooks and policies, and litigation avoidance. Tim represents employers ranging from Fortune 100 corporations to mid-sized companies and startups, across a broad spectrum of industries, including manufacturing, technology, education, healthcare, entertainment, banking, and retail.

At Lewis Brisbois, Tim oversaw a full caseload of Utah and California employment litigation matters, as well as state and U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) administrative charges. Earlier, Tim owned and practiced as a partner at Ceartas Legal, LLP, an employment litigation and trial law firm.

Tim is also actively involved in the legal and human resources communities, serving as a Board Member for Salt Lake City SHRM.  He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School and his B.A., cum laude, from Franciscan University.
