PARIS – January 3, 2024 – Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to welcome Nicole Goulard as a partner in the firm’s Paris office. Goulard arrives at Ogletree Deakins after running her own practice, GFD Avocats, for four years. She is joined by associate Amelie Fiamma.
Goulard began her career with a 15-year stint at PWC Avocats, where she was a partner in charge of HR tax and legal services. She served in key roles at two other French law firms before forming her own. Goulard has a wealth of experience in corporate governance, executive compensation and management packages, stock plans, and social and tax issues related to international mobility.
“Nicole’s expansive knowledge of international labor and tax issues will complement and expand the current capabilities of Ogletree Deakins’ Paris office,” said Cécile Martin, managing partner of the firm’s Paris office. “She will also provide needed support to the firm’s U.S. Employee Benefits and Compensation Practice Group. Goulard earned her undergraduate business and tax degree with honors from Paris Sorbonne Law School and postgraduate from the Paris Grande Ecole Science politics. She is a member of the French Institute of Tax Lawyers (Institut des Avocats Conseils Fiscaux) and a lecturer at the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne.
