Alysonne Hatfield graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law in May 2002. While at the University of Alabama, she was a senior editor of the Alabama Law Review, and was an oralist for the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court team. Alysonne first joined Ogletree Deakins in August 2003, and her practice focused on general labor and employment litigation. She  represented corporate clients in all stages of employment litigation, including administrative actions before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, litigation in state and federal court, and through appeals to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Alysonne then spent approximately a decade as Assistant General Counsel for the Alabama Department of Labor, specializing in state and USDOL regulatory guidance as to unemployment compensation, as well as representing the agency in federal employment discrimination litigation and state unemployment appeals.Â
Back at Ogletree Deakins since 2025, Alysonne has resumed her general labor and employment litigation practice. In addition to litigation, Alysonne provides advice and counsel to corporate and public clients on avoidance of employment disputes, development of personnel policies and training programs, and provides review of current employment decisions for compliance with federal and state employment law, including wage and hour law, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, among others.Â
