Amy represents employers in a wide variety of labor and employment issues, including single-plaintiff and class action litigation under federal and state laws. Amy also represents clients in pre-litigation matters before administrative agencies, conducts internal investigations for clients relating to employee complaints of discrimination, harassment, bullying, and other workplace misconduct, and provides advice and counsel to employers regarding employee handbooks, accommodation and leave requests, and general personnel practices and policies. She is a dedicated management attorney who works collaboratively and creatively with clients to deliver effective and practical solutions in all areas of employment matters.
While in law school, Amy served as a Student Editor on the Employee Rights and Employment Policy Journal and was a member of the Competitive Alternative Dispute Resolution Team. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Amy practiced at a Chicago-based law firm, where she represented public entities in all aspects of labor and employment matters.
