Amy Dalal’s practice is concentrated in the area of employment-based immigration, specifically obtaining temporary and permanent work visas on behalf of clients for their workforce. She strategizes and helps clients with creating and updating immigration policies and practices that focuses on efficiency, consistency, retention and above all, compliance. During her over 15 years of practice, she has helped clients of all sizes, from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies with large high volume programs, and across all industries including financial services, IT consulting, and manufacturing. She regularly advises clients on I-9 issues, Department of Labor and USCIS requirements, permanent residency policies, corporate restructuring, and employer compliance concerns. Further, she keeps clients apprised of recent regulatory updates and advises on how such updates directly impact a client’s immigration policies and workforce.
She regularly provides on-site trainings and presentations to in-house counsel, HR professionals, recruiters, foreign national employees, and new hires to help guide them through the complicated immigration processes and the company’s specific immigration policies. She has also worked closely with clients to leverage technology for data analytics and reporting purposes. Amy recognizes the importance of balancing a client’s concerns regarding compliance, efficiencies, and managing costs with maintaining the workforce’s proper work authorization and long-term interests. She works directly with clients to maintain this balance for the benefit of a successful immigration program.
