Andrés is an associate in the Stamford office of Ogletree Deakins. Andrés regularly works with in-house counsel and human resource professionals across a variety of industries to achieve compliance with state and federal laws, and offering best practices for workplace solutions.

Andrés also represents employers in litigation, including in state and federal courts, before government agencies, and in arbitration and mediation proceedings. Andrés’ litigation experience includes representing clients against allegations of workplace discrimination, retaliation, harassment, free speech violations, and wrongful termination. Andrés also represents clients in related disputes, including those involving claims of unfair trade practices, breach of contract, and trade secrets disputes.

Andrés is a member of the firm’s Latinx business resource group ODAdelante and the National Employment Law Council. Outside of the firm, Andrés is an active member of local bar associations, including the Connecticut Bar Association and Connecticut Hispanic Bar Association. Andrés received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut. While in law school, Andrés was a member of the Asylum and Human Rights Clinic, where he successfully obtained political asylum for his client, and was the Membership Editor for the Connecticut Public Interest Journal.

When not practicing law, Andrés can be found playing for his local over-30s men’s soccer team.
