Andrew C. Birkinsha

Andrew is an associate in the Kansas City office of Ogletree Deakins. Andrew represents clients in all areas of employment law. Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was an associate at a regional Kansas City firm where he defended clients in construction, transportation, employment discrimination, and personal injury matters.

Andrew is a two time graduate of BYU. While at BYU Law, Andrew served on multiple leadership boards, did work and research with the International Center for Law and Religion Studies, and served as an editor for the BYU Journal of Public Law. Andrew received the Wendy C. Archibald Meritorious Service Award for his many contributions to the law school community. While in law school, Andrew clerked with the U.S. Attorney’s office in Madison, Wisconsin, the Utah Attorney General’s Office, a non-profit religious organization in South Africa, and for a manufacturing company in Detroit.

When he is not working, Andrew can be found participating in Kansas City’s Ultimate Frisbee League, playing racquetball, gardening, or spending time with his wife and children.
