Andrew Halverson brings more than a decade of wide-ranging legal experience on matters across the spectrum in general business and corporate, mineral, property, and employment law. He has litigated numerous matters including noncompete and trade secret issues, wage disputes, breach of contract, and a variety of corporate and property disputes.
Andrew brings lead counsel experience at the partner level in the formal trial and appellate court setting on employment, business, and property matters, and also served as co-counsel defending corporate clients on a host of other matters, including civil RICO, fraudulent and negligent misrepresentation, and False Claim Act claims.
Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Andrew completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees in mathematics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He received his Juris Doctorate and Bachelors of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2007, where he served with honors on the Tullis Moot Court Board and was also a member of LSU’s National Mock Trial Team.
Andrew is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana.
