Awanti Damle focuses her practice on employment-based immigration and works with high volume, multinational corporations to develop immigration programs for their employees, with a particular focus on clients in the financial services and technology industries. Awanti is committed to learning her clients’ business needs and navigating the intricacies of immigration regulations to ensure strategies are developed and implemented to align with business objectives and remain in compliance.
Awanti advises clients on nonimmigrant visa categories, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, and TN visas, and the various paths to obtaining legal permanent residency, including processing applications of extraordinary ability, outstanding researchers, multinational managers, and skilled and unskilled workers. She has extensive experience in responding to government requests for evidence, including nonimmigrant and immigrant RFEs, and PERM audits.
Awanti received her Bachelors of Arts in Spanish and Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She earned her Juris Doctor from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law where was an active member of the mock trial team and she excelled in legal research and writing.
