Blake Witty is an associate in the Raleigh, North Carolina office of Ogletree Deakins focusing on employment-based immigration law. Blake works primarily with high-volume, multinational clients to obtain temporary work visas on behalf of new and current employees. Blake is also involved in the permanent residency (“Green Card”) process. More specifically, he works with various nonimmigrant categories, including L-1, H-1B, TN, and more.
Blake attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sport Science- Sport Administration as well as Political Science, in addition to serving as a Manager of the Women’s Basketball Team. Blake received his J.D. from Wake Forest School of Law. Blake was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review, where he served as an Articles Editor. Blake also served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Analysis and Writing I & II and served as an intern at varying points for Justice Samuel Ervin IV on the North Carolina Supreme Court and Judge Lucy Inman on the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
