Bonnie K. Serrano

Bonnie is an associate in the Austin office of Ogletree Deakins. Her practice focuses on employment litigation, where she represents clients in various employment-related matters including workplace discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and related issues. Bonnie defends employers before various administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Texas Workforce Commission as well as in state and federal courts.

Bonnie received her Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted as a member of the Order of the Coif. During law school, Bonnie served as the Lead Articles Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review, competed in national moot court competitions, and worked as a student attorney for the Innocence Project of Texas. After law school, she clerked for United States Magistrate Judge John R. Parker in the Northern District of Texas.

In Bonnie’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her pets and taking advantage of everything her hometown Austin, Texas has to offer.
