Brian Pansius represents and advises employers in a wide range of labor and employment law issues. His practice focuses on traditional labor law, wage and hour laws, anti-discrimination measures, employee leaves and accommodations, and policy implementation. Brian has represented employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in matters involving unfair labor practice charges, wrongful termination, and the alleged violation of anti-discrimination and anti-retaliation laws. He has also represented clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings, such as arbitrations and mediations, and he has counseled employers on individual employee issues, including discipline and discharge, leaves and accommodations, and confidentiality concerns.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Brian was an associate attorney at a boutique firm in the Boston area representing public employers in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. While in law school, Brian worked as a judicial intern on the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
