Trip Short is an associate attorney in the Charlotte office of Ogletree Deakins. Trip advises and represents management in a wide range of employment law issues. Trip regularly defends employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour violations before state and federal courts, and administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the North Carolina Department of Labor.
Trip completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Following law school, Trip clerked for Justice Samuel J. Ervin, IV on the North Carolina Supreme Court.
