Carlos is a skilled labor and employment attorney with extensive experience representing clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies in complex workplace litigation. As an associate at Ogletree Deakins, Carlos defends employers in state and federal courts against claims involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes.
He has amounted substantial trial and arbitration experience early in his career, including multi-week state and federal court trials and private arbitration involving a variety of issues including whistleblower retaliation, sexual harassment, and age discrimination cases. As part of his trial experience, Carlos has conducted direct and cross-examinations of both fact and expert witnesses, argued key evidentiary issues, and helped shape trial strategy and presentation.
