Mr. Humber represents management in a wide variety of labor and employment litigation matters. Although his practice now is based primarily in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia, he has successfully defended employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies throughout the country.
Mr. Humber has experience representing employers in connection with discrimination claims (both single-plaintiff and multi-plaintiff), disability accommodation suits, defamation and other state tort claims, non-competition and trade secrets enforcement actions, whistleblowing claims, wage and hour class and collective actions, unfair labor practice charges, and grievance arbitrations. As an adjunct to his litigation practice, Mr. Humber provides counseling to clients on a broad range of subjects related to employment law.
Following graduation from Harvard Law School in 1996, Mr. Humber served for two years as law clerk to the Honorable George W. Lindberg, District Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
