Daniel represents local and national employers in traditional employment law matters. He has experience litigating a wide variety of employment matters, which have included disputes about discrimination, harassment, retaliation, sexual abuse, family and medical leave, reasonable accommodation, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and wage and hour issues. He represents employers before Washington state and federal courts, and various federal, state, and municipal agencies.
Daniel also has experience in counseling employers on a wide variety of employment matters. He uses his litigation experience to advise employers about workplace policies and procedures, and to counsel employers on compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Daniel served as a law clerk for the Honorable C.C. Bridgewater, Washington State Court of Appeals, Division Two. Prior to law school, Daniel worked as a research technician for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where he co-authored several publications about Drosophila melanogaster (fruit flies).
Currently, Daniel serves as a member of the Civil Service Commission for the City of Bellevue, Washington.
