Dr. Martin Landauer is a certified employment law specialist. He advises national and international clients in all areas of individual and collective labor law and represents them before German labor courts of all instances. The focus of his work is on:

●    advising on restructurings, adjustment of staffing levels, business relocations, reorganization and closure of operations, introduction of short-time work models;

●    negotiating with employee representatives in co-determination matters such as for implementation of IT systems, amendment of remuneration schemes and working time models, as well as conducting related conciliation board and court proceedings;

●    assistance with international staffing issues such as employer of record and lease employment concepts;

●    advising on executive and board member agreements and complex compensation systems;

●    guidance on labor law compliance, in particular in the fields of bogus self-employment and illegal temporary employment, and representation of clients in related administrative proceedings;

●    advising on post-merger integration of businesses and operations following M&A transactions, both in national and in cross-border constellations;

●    designing flexible and modern work arrangements including mobile work, work on demand and “workation” concepts;

●    advising on corporate co-determination matters;

●    guidance on employment related social security law.

Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Dr. Martin Landauer worked for SKW Schwarz, Noerr and Gleiss Lutz.
