Emily is an attorney in Ogletree Deakins’ Philadelphia office. Emily represents employers of all sizes in a variety of employment matters, including litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, wage and hour disputes, and non-compete agreements. Emily practices before state and federal courts, as well as various administrative agencies, and has experience with cases involving single plaintiffs and class actions. In addition to litigating, Emily advises clients regarding workplace policies and procedures.
Following law school, Emily served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard S. Hoffman, New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division, after which she was an associate at a regional and then national law firm. Prior to joining Ogletree, Emily worked as a staff attorney for the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division for four years, where she gained invaluable experience and a unique perspective for litigation.
Emily graduated cum laude from Rutgers School of Law, and was the Associate Managing Editor of the Rutgers Law Journal (n/k/a Rutgers University Law Review). She additionally served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Analysis Writing & Research classes. Emily received her B.A. from Cornell University, where she was also a member of the varsity women’s gymnastics team.
