Emma Allison is an associate attorney in the Austin office and a member of Ogletree Deakins’ immigration practice group. Emma supports clients in the recruitment and retention of foreign nationals in a wide range of non-immigrant visa categories, including H-1B, L-1A, and L-1B as well as immigrant visa matters, including PERM, I-140, I-130, and Adjustment of Status petitions.
Before joining Ogletree Deakins, Emma received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law. She received her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Furman University with a double major in educational studies and religion. While at Duke Law, Emma served as a student attorney with the Duke Immigrant Rights Clinic, where she assisted representing individuals applying for asylum in North Carolina. She also interned with the United States Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.
