Eric is an of counsel in the Sacramento office of Ogletree Deakins. He is a civil litigator with an expertise in defending against single-plaintiff employment lawsuits. He has a proven track record of helping clients reach a positive outcome, whether that is a dismissal, defense verdict, or favorable settlement. He employs a thoughtful approach to his practice that prioritizes being attentive to his clients’ needs while effectively advocating in their defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Eric worked for a California law firm that specialized in defending public sector clients in labor and employment matters, where he had significant success in multiple forums, including arbitration hearings, administrative proceedings, and civil actions through trial. Eric worked diligently to identify the most effective strategy for his clients’ defense, and develop a litigation plan accordingly.
Eric graduated cum laude from UC San Diego, and received his juris doctorate from Vanderbilt University Law School. While in law school, he broadened his experience with internships with the Atlanta Securities and Exchange Commission and a non-governmental organization in Uganda.
When he’s not either at the office or spending time with his kids, Eric enjoys skiing, disc golfing, and playing piano.
