Erin Shackelford is an employment and litigation associate in the firm’s Nashville office. She provides counsel to employers on a variety of employment-related issues and uses her state court litigation experience and broad knowledge of Tennessee state laws, including extensive state appellate courts, for the benefit of our clients. Prior to joining the firm, Erin served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Richard H. Dinkins in the Tennessee Court of Appeals, and as an assistant attorney general for the Office of the Tennessee Attorney General & Reporter where she represented state departments, boards, and agencies in a variety of civil matters in state and federal courts.
Erin received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and her B.A. from Miami University. While in law school, Erin served on the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law as a notes editor and as a governing member of the Vanderbilt Bar Association.
