Gayle Meadors has extensive experience advising clients on the requirements of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) including drafting and qualifying retirement plans as well as preparing cafeteria plans, self-insured medical plans and nonqualified deferred compensation agreements. She also provides advice to employers on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Illinois Insurance Code as it relates to medical benefits, Illinois unemployment and workers’ compensation laws and special nondiscrimination laws applicable to federal contractors.
