Heidi is Board Certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She has spent her entire career representing employers on all matters impacting their employees under federal and state labor and employment laws, including compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Heidi oversees investigations, handles charges of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, and handles any ensuing litigation in state and federal court.
Heidi received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 2010. While attending law school, Heidi oversaw the school’s mentor program as Head Mentor, was a member of the Texas International Law Journal, and became certified as a mediator in the state of Texas. Prior to law school, Heidi received her B.B.A. in Finance from the McCombs School of Business in 2006.
