Jacqueline Piran joined the Berlin office of Ogletree Deakins as a partner in April 2022.
As a certified employment law specialist, she advises German and international companies as well as the public sector on all employment related matters, especially those relating to redundancies, restructurings, merger and acquisitions and privatizations, as well as post-merger integrations. Her expertise also extends to discrimination, employee stock options, global mobility and compliance matters.
She represents employers in employment law disputes and in all matters under collective bargaining law, in particular in the conclusion of in-house collective bargaining agreements and works agreements as well as reconciliation of interests and social compensation plans.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, she was a founding partner of PIRAN Employment Law Offices in Berlin. Prior to that, she worked at Baker & McKenzie in Chicago, Frankfurt and Berlin for many years.
