Jeffrey R. Sigmund

Jeff joined Ogletree Deakins’ immigration practice group in 2015. He works with employers to provide comprehensive business immigration solutions for their employees across diverse industries, including information technology, financial services, clinical research, manufacturing, and higher education. Jeff’s practice area spans both non-immigrant and immigrant employment visa types, including specialty occupation visas (H-1B), intracompany transfers (L-1), NAFTA professionals (TN), PERM-based I-140s, and adjustments of status (AOS). He works extensively on administering high-volume PERM-based green card programs with an emphasis on compliance.

Jeff earned a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and graduated with his JD magna cum laude from North Carolina Central University.
