Jennifer represents employers on a wide variety of labor and employment issues arising under state and federal law. Her practice focuses on defending class and collective actions, including the defense of independent contractor misclassification claims, retaliation and wrongful discharge claims, breach of contract claims, and claims involving workplace torts. She has successfully represented clients at trial, as well as in arbitration and administrative proceedings.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Jennifer represented clients in an expansive range of litigation and transactional matters in the retail, manufacturing, and technology industries. She regularly advised employers in formulating and implementing employment policies and drafted employee handbooks, independent contractor agreements, and separation agreements. She also previously served as corporate Counsel for a multi-national manufacturing company, where she worked closely with business teams to develop and implement effective contracts and policies, and coordinated with outside counsel to manage litigation.
