Jennifer Monrose Moore

Jennifer Moore initially practiced as counsel for the Florida Commission on Human Relations, and then went on to practice management-side labor relations and employment law with an emphasis in all facets of employment litigation, where she handled numerous multi-plaintiff litigation cases, including several class action litigation cases. In addition to trying cases in Florida State courts and federal courts throughout the Southeast of the United States, she is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. In 2008, Jennifer was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers in the area of Labor and Employment law, and received further recognition that same year as one of The Best Lawyers in America.

Throughout her career, Jennifer assisted management teams with litigation prevention training in all facets of employment law, including hiring, discipline, termination, and harassment prevention, and was a frequent lecturer for the Society of Human Resource Management, Lorman Education, and the Florida Workers’ Compensation Institute. Jennifer served as the Legislative Chair of the Suncoast Human Resources Management Association through December 2007.

In January 2008, Jennifer left national firm practice to join the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office as its Deputy General Counsel. In that position, she was responsible for direct supervision of General Counsel’s Office, including both litigation and advice functions. Additionally, she oversaw and managed the Risk Management function for the agency. Jennifer also taught the agency’s Advanced Leadership Training, and lectured for the Florida Model Jail Inspector’s Certification Training. In 2011, Jennifer took on the responsibility for the Human Resources Department as Deputy General Counsel/Interim Human Resources Director.

Since returning to private practice in 2012, Jennifer has represented national and regional clients in federal and state employment litigation actions. She is currently the Co-Chair of the firm’s Staffing/PEO practice group.

Jennifer is also an active volunteer. In 2003, Jennifer was a United Way Volunteer of the Year nominee. She is on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of the Suncoast serving as Board Chair for the 2015-2017 term, as a member of the Executive Committee since 2011, Chair of the Human Resources Committee, and member of the Executive Compensation Committee for the YMCA. In 2011, Jennifer took on the added role of Community Campaign Chairperson for the organization leading the Board of Directors to raise an unprecedented $100,000.
