Kara Goray is an associate in the Raleigh office of Ogletree Deakins, where she focuses her practice on immigration. Her practice includes assisting clients with nonimmigrant visa categories such as H-1B, TN, L-1B, L-1A, and O-1 as well as immigrant petitions in the EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 categories.
Kara’s experience includes assisting corporate clients across a broad range of industries including information technology, financial services, automotive, and higher education.
Kara received her Juris Doctor from Campbell Law School. Before law school, Kara was a business immigration paralegal in the Ogletree’s Raleigh Office. While in law school, she gained a variety of practical experience, including in family law and senior law. She was also a member of Campbell’s mock trial team.
Kara is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL), Wake County Bar Association (WCBA), and the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA).
