Keenan O’Connor is an associate in the San Diego office of Ogletree Deakins. He represents employers in all aspects of workplace law matters, with a specific focus on litigation. Keenan represents employers in diverse areas including single- and multi-plaintiff actions involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, wage and hour law, as well as actions brought under California’s Private Attorneys General Act. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Keenan represented various public entities and non-profits in employment, business, and other matters, including a case before the California Court of Appeal, which resulted in a published opinion.
Keenan graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego (USD) School of Law. During law school, he was a judicial extern for the Honorable Magistrate Carl. W. Hoffman of the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada. He also served on the Executive Board of the Moot Court and was a member of the Employment and Labor Law Society. Upon graduation from USD Law, Keenan worked as criminal prosecutor where he gained extensive courtroom experience and tried nine cases to verdict.
In his free time, he is an avid musician. He also spends time traveling to various national parks with his wife and two dachshunds, Stan and Ollie.
