Kristin serves as Special Counsel with the firm’s EEO Advantage Program where she focuses her practice exclusively on defending employers before federal and state administrative agencies.   Kristin has extensive employment litigation experience in both state and federal courts and is skilled in conducting fact investigations, witness interviews, and depositions. She regularly works with clients to assess and develop risk strategies, prepare persuasive and effective position statements, to limit and manage administrative agency document requests, and conduct settlement negotiations and mediations.

Prior to joining the firm’s EEO Advantage program, Kristin gained extensive experience representing employers before administrative agencies and in employment litigation in both state and federal court. Kristin has represented employers on a wide range of employment law issues, including discrimination, harassment and retaliation under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, and state and local laws. Kristin also regularly counseled employers on best practices for avoiding litigation and on day-to-day human resources issues, including discipline and discharge, employment policies, and handbooks.  In addition to her labor and employment practice, Kristin is experienced in counseling and handling a variety of benefits based issues, including executive compensation packages and separation agreements, plan drafting, review, and analysis, and HIPAA and ERISA issues.
