Kristofer “Kris” focuses his practice on representing employers, both large and small, in a wide range of employment litigation matters. Kris has litigation experience in areas of employment discrimination, retaliation, and harassment, accommodation, protected leave interference and retaliation, hostile work environment, and wrongful termination cases, as well as administrative and licensing matters. He also has experience advising employers and business owners in the context of internal investigations, administrative proceedings, policy and handbook compliance, and succession planning.
In 2011, Kris received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Oregon State University. In 2022, Kris graduated magna cum laude from Willamette University College of Law with a JD and Certificate in Law and Business. During law school, Kris worked at the college’s estate planning clinic and as a law clerk at a local firm. He also served as a Source and Citations Editor for the Willamette Law Review.
Prior to joining Ogletree, Kris was at a small plaintiff’s firm in Sherwood, Oregon where he practiced labor and employment litigation, as well as business litigation, corporate transactions, and estate planning.
