Lia Dorsey serves as the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer and is responsible for leading the development and execution of the firm’s diversity strategy, as well as ongoing and new initiatives that will continue to build and support an inclusive culture. She collaborates with firm leaders to expand efforts around recruiting and retention, training, and professional and client development. Lia has experience in strategic change management, organizational development, and several talent management disciplines including leadership development, coaching and marketing and business development.
Lia joins the firm from the largest law firm in the world, where she was the Head of Diversity and Inclusion. There, she was responsible for the strategic oversight, design, and implementation of the firm’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Lia is a thought leader in the movement to advance diversity and a driver for inclusive change. She is a regular speaker on topics covering diversity and inclusion in Big Law and the greater legal industry. Lia is also a former President of the Association of Law Firm Diversity Professionals.
